We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus. Acts 15:11 (NLT)

  1. Living in a hopeless world

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12

“We can live forty days without food, eight days without water, four minutes without air, but only a few seconds without hope”

  1. Understanding hope in a hopeless world

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. Matthew 24:6-8

  1. Possessing hope in a hopeless world

It will seem like all hell has broken loose—sun, moon, stars, earth, sea, in an uproar and everyone all over the world in a panic, the wind knocked out of them by the threat of doom, the powers-that-be quaking. And then—then!—they’ll see the Son of Man welcomed in grand style—a glorious welcome! When all this starts to happen get up on your feet. Stand tall with your heads high. Help is on the way! Luke 21:25-28(The Message)

  1. Sharing hope in a hopeless world

Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way.1 Peter 3:15-16 (New Living Translation)

This week let this be your prayer…

Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior,

and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5
